Not that I look down on local novel, I just haven't find the one that trigger me.
And this one...this one is among the Bahasa Malaysia novels that I've read...Actually, it's a novel that was translated into our language. Terima kasih DBP.
It's a masterpiece by Naquib Mahfouz. He potrayed the Midaq alley with his words to a perfect degree, that
made you feel like you're part of Midaq alley and you can even imagine how's Midaq alley was...
I read this novel because it's one of the novels that compulsary for us to read. Thanks to World Literature course...right decision.
