"Now that I am a revert...There is only ONE God. The Creator Almighty. But what if I hadn't reverted? Would I still be confused secretly?"
Revert...if not because of that one beautiful article I accidentally read years ago, I would never know that the word exist...and I hardly forget that article.
When a non muslim, becomes a muslim, we often say; he converts.
But after reading that one article, I think revert is the right term to refer when one change his religion to Islam. Revert is like "kembali"...becoming a Muslim and embracing Islam is "kembali".
I like the article written by Daphne Iking...she used revert, instead of convert :)
P/S: It's kind of funny but sweet, when a recently reverted friend greeted me this morning with salam... :)
