I went to the Gaya Street Tamu this morning and something that made me became emotional happened.
An old beggar (holding unfolded box) and his son were busy checking oranges at one of the fruit stalls.
"Ini berapa?" he pointed to the big orange, "RM1 satu biji", "Ini berapa?" he pointed at the small oranges his son hold, "RM5"...he asked the same questions twice...then they left.
My theory; he couldn't afford any of the oranges... :(
I was holding and indulging my RM2 Lo Han Guo... hurm
Suddenly I remembered an article I read (that hardly stopped me from clicking the "share" and "post it on Facebook" buttons. Dang! I broke my promise!) about how the small thing to us means a big thing to others.
Huhu, too bad because I didn't have the courage to buy the oranges for them...
