Alhamdulillah I performed my Umrah last year. Mudah-mudahan dicukupkan dan dijemput lagi oleh-Nya. Ameen.
I am inspired to post this after accidently saw the current time at Mekah. It's 2245 hours in Mekah now, five hours differences from the Malaysia time. How can I forgot the nights and the atmosphere in Mekah, at this time.
Masjidil Haram...it's still alive even after Isya prayer. The coldness and calmness...Ya Allah, there's no way one could forget. I dare to bet everyone who'd been there will never forget the tranquility that Mekah offers.
The busy street...millions of umat walking at slow pace heading to Masjidil Haram (the patiently waiting drivers - that never honk or swear verbally - the miracle of Tanah Haram) sitting alone, staring the Kaabah, tasbi-ing, glorifying and remembering Allah swt, not forgotten those who reciting Al-Quran...sitting next to their friends or family and chit chatting...olds, youths, young youths, children, babies, teenagers...you name it...everyone gathers in Masjidil Haram to feel that feel...a feel that words can't potrayed...perhaps you can only feel it when you're in Mekah...the nearest "place" where you can feel the "almost the same" feeling is when you are tafakur-ing after Subuh prayer or when you're at the mosque.
Subhanallah...
Oh Allah how I miss Mekah so much...Ya Allah aku mohon diampunkan dosa dosa ku, dosa kedua ibu bapa ku, keluarga ku, guru-guru ku, sahabat ku, saudara mara ku dan seluruh muslimin dan muslimat...cukupkan kami dan jemputlah kami ke Kaabah Mu...Ameen...
Labbaikallah humma la baik...
