On The Star

I just finish reading Sujesh Pavithran's The Long Kiss Goodbye.
It's somewhat similiar to Soo Ewe Jin's article, where virtual world is seems to be very dominant nowadays.
In his article Sujesh wrote about his daily routine that's readinh newspaper early in the morning and how he's not into virtual newspaper.
Just like Pavithran, I found myself in the same boat as his. Reading newspaper through online is not my favourite. I prefer reading newspaper...real one.
The only reason I check-out online newspaper is, I wanted to read articles written by journalists.
And well sometimes if I want to have a quick update. But given a choice between virtual and actual newspaper, I definitely choose actual newspaper. Just like Pavithran, my interest in reading newspaper started when I was very young, thanks to my parents. They love reading newspaper so much...until today.
So that's one of the things that I learned from my parents about parenting. If you want kids that read, show them your reading habit. Get your home a newspaper.
Then as for Soo's article: Is The Old 555 Notebook Or New iPad better?
So far, I am much comfortable using book as my organizer...but maybe one day I'l have myself an iPad. I don't know, maybe I don't need it...I'll stick with my book.
